We had a great meeting on Nov. 6. I have had interest from almost 60 kids and adults. I have extra itineraries if you misplaced yours. All senior choir members are guaranteed a spot on the trip if they want to come.

We may take a very few mature younger choir members as well. Choir alumni can apply to come as well. We are celebrating Canada’s 150th anniversary, the 25th year of the Georgetown Children’s Chorus AND, most importantly, we are honouring the veterans who fought in battle sites we are visiting and whose graves we will observe as well. I don’t have time to do the trip sign up before Jan. but if our trip supplier has the forms and the payment schedule before then, I will send it out to you.

Al and I are volunteering our time to run this trip for our choir members and we will decide who can come. There is room for some adults to come along but this will be by invitation based on who wants to come and who I think will be a cheerful and helpful traveler with the group. This will be the 12th trip that I have organized for the GCC and, don’t worry, we know what we are doing! :-) Al and I have been on this particular trip three times before and we also have a professional Tour Conductor leading us, who has done it for 30 years.

We will remember them!!

Please note that anyone who wants to come and hear about the trip is most welcome to do so. There are lots of public trips like this one and it is a wonderful experience.
